Default Looking for a Part-time vehicle mech

Hey guys, anyone in the Knoxville/Pigeon Forge Tennessee area know of someone willing to do preventative maintenance on a small fleet of 4 vehicles? It would be quarterly maintenance and then any repairs that might come up.

It can be a retired guy looking to escape from the house, someone who has their own business and wants to branch into the electric utility arena, or a golf cart shop just looking for a way to learn about Columbia or ParCar electric vehicles.

You don't have to be the best guru around, just have some mechanical ability and like the industry. If you are worried about training, what BGW hasn't help you learn already, I am always just a phone call away to walk you through anything.

This is not a job offer. You would be your own business, and if not a corporation already you would get a 1099 next year. The rate is negotiable as well as a trip charge, as all work is done on site.

If you are interested, or know someone, pm me please. I always prefer a veteran to work with just for knowing that commitment, duty and honor are part of our being, but even if not a vet and you can be honest and open, then I'm okay with that too. Thanks.

It is only abiut 8 hours a quarter for PM plus whatever time inbetween to do needed repairs. Myabe a golf cart place in area looking to dabble into Columbia a little and have parts access?

I would, but my trip charge from San Diego is prohibitive.

How about Escondido? Would that be closer?

Much.

I'm currently in Ranch Bernardo (~10 miles) and work on Naval Base Coronado. Won't retire for another two years though so time is limited.

I love visiting Coronado. It's beautiful. Enjoy the next two years, then really enjoy life after that!

Sure hope to. Did you have something in Escondido? Even if I can't manage it I may be able to find someone.
