Charging issue
I am having issues with my Tram charging. I notice this the last two times I tried to charge the car. I check the batteries and found a dead cell and replaced it. I was told to jack up the back end, press the pedal and read the voltage on the batteries. I did and they read between 5.4 and 5.8 volts excluding the new battery it read 6.1. I have been charging it for more than 24hrs and I see no difference in the voltage. I do hear the charger, and it is humming. Any suggestions?

Re: Charging issue
I presume you're using the pack charger. Try charging the low batteries separately. You probably have a car charger so charge two at a time (12V), til they're up to around 6.1 each. Then put the pack back together and use the pack charger.

Re: Charging issue
I have an obc. Do you think the obc is bad? When I plug in the obc the meter on it does not move, but on the charge indicator on the dash read 1/2 of a charge.

Re: Charging issue
Could always be a bad charger, but you have to first verify the entire battery pack is up to snuff by getting the voltages of each battery closer to each other. When you replace one battery or a partial pack, you run the risk of ruining the new batteries unless you can get the pack stable within itself.

Re: Charging issue
I got the pack back up to 6.1V each. I then pluged in the obc. The charger still reads 0 but the pack reads 37V. Any suggestions?

Re: Charging issue
The Lester has a fuse in the front that could be bad. Could also be a bad diode inside. The owner manual and a schematic are loaded in this website. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/colum...harger-Lester/
