how do u pull the motor couplier off a electric motor

I'm surprised you're able to find a replacement. D&D didn't want to cough any up afraid it would damage the armature removing or installing.

i have a par car putting a 19 spline ezgo motor in it but the coupler is 1/4 in to long can i cut it down to what i need

As long as it seats on the spline and you can do it without damaging the teeth, I would try it if it was in my garage at home.
