Default what to put honda 750 shadow motor

some say im nuts but would like to try or see if it can be done. i would like to try to put a honda shadow 750 motor in a ezgo. iv done lots of customizing only with painting never with a motor so dont even know where to start i do know im going to have to put a clutch pedle in that easy im ok with a welder so im willing to try guys have any ideas of how shold i start this project

I'd start by putting that motor in the nearest dumpster.

Go For It

#1 You need to get the engine output to the rear end somehow. You might be able to get the inner spline out of the driven clutch & weld a sprocket to it
#2 You need to make room for the carbs & exhaust
#3 Clutch lever can be mounted to shift linkage. There are a few posts on the golf cart forums that have pictures.

Good luck & post some pictures of the project

I have a people mover (Pargo), and I'm toying with a Goldwing motor (1100 or 1200cc) Just need to find a rear end with a normal setup for a u joint.

Sounds like one heck of a cool project custom carts!! Be sure to get plenty of pic's. I've seen several golf carts on youtube with bike engines. They are monster machines.
