Black roof on Precedent
I have seen quite a few black roofs on carts, but I cant find them for sale anywhere. So my question is, are people just painting them? And if so what kind of paint are they using to make it stick well and did they have to sand it all down first?

That's my project today. Ive been told either Plasti-dip or Dupi-color Bedliner spray works great. I just called my local Advance Auto Parts they carry the dupi-color bedliner spray. I'm gonna try it out. I hope to get it done today between rain showers.

Got her done today. Here is the before and after. I highly recommend the Dupi-Color bedliner Spray. Good Luck!

Do you know if the paint you used is sold in silver? Just ordered a silver/metalic vinyl pattern to recover my seats. Was thinking I'd paint the roof to match. Black body silver seats and roof. How'd your painting turn out? |

Cman,
The roof came out great. The only color ive seen in a rattle can is black. now, u might be able to find the roll on stuff in different colors. Herculiner is one brand that comes to mind. Gwagon |

rust-oleum universal it has a strange looking top its made for plastic and it comes in a lot of colors

You can put the bed liner on, couple light coats works best, and then paint it what ever color you want. The paint sticks great to the bedliner.
