Talking 12volts off of 36 are 48

This is how I have my 2 carts at the beach wired now. They have been done like this since September and so far no problems.

Take a 36 are 48 volt selonoid and wire into the key switch to activate/deactivate whenever the key is turned on/off.

Then run a big cable to the + post of the battery which you are going to tap into for 12 are 16 volts depending on the model of cart. Don't worry you wont burn up the radio or the lights. Think about it. When your car is running it's pushing 16 volts with the alternator running. Most radio's and other stuff are rated for this so it shouldn't be a problem but I would check the labels first. I take no responsibility for you blowing up anything!
Now on the other big terminal you can run it to a fuse block are whatever to controll your accessories. When you turn the cart on and off you can't leave anything on to run down the batteries.
