How to clean cart body?
I bought a used cart that looks like it had a vinyl decal on the hood of it where I can read what was on there in the sunlight. Any suggestion on how to clean/ remove this? If it was on a car, I would use rubbing compound followed by wax but I am assuming you can't do this on the plastic/fiberglass body.
Thanks! |

I would suggest Goo Gone. They sell it in a plastic and metal container. The stuff in the metal container is stronger and that's what I would use.

Re: How to clean cart body?
If the spot is just a shiny spot where the decal was, but not sticky you can use an auto polish. After you get it to the point where you can't discern the spot so much, you can then use a decent auto wax. A buffer is the best way to do it, though. It sounds like the spots were protected by the decal and the rest of the cart was subjected to the weather.

Re: How to clean cart body?
The lettering shows the difference due to weathering/exposure to sunlight and not the "goo" from the actual stickers. No problem using a rubbing compound or will it leave the finish "cloudy" or just put a bunch of wax on it followed by a good buffing?
