Voltage reducer question
2003 48v Club Car DS. Just got this 30 amp voltage reducer. I am not sure where to put the control wire on the key switch. Could I get some help? Is the control wire supposed to sent 48v from the back of the switch to turn it on? Does the key switch have 48v is a better question?
Thanks! http://www.ebay.com/itm/131490767037...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |

The key switch has 2 posts. One is 48v constant and one that is 48v when you turn the key. I didn't have a meter when I installed mine so I took an educated guess and got it right. If you have a meter, just see which one has no power with the key in the off possition and hook it to that post

Re: Voltage reducer question
Connect the yellow wire from the reducer to the switch post with the BLUE wire. Just did mine. Wire diagram for 2003 DS http://www.golfcartpartsdirect.com/Category/278
Yes the switch is 48V. The reducer is designed so when you turn off the key the 12V is turned off. |

Re: Voltage reducer question
I'm looking for a reducer with the same specs for a 48v EZ-GO RXV. The one you linked to is the cheapest one I've seen. Have you gotten it working yet? Does it seem to be good quality?
