Default Custom grab handles for rear jump seat....

I will start by saying that I took a "full" size rear seat and cut it down as to fit what I was looking for. I didn't want the full size seat. It was too big, bulky for my needs. Plus I hardly ever need to carry that many people. So, I made it just large enough for 1 person (adult or child) to sit on. Also, now I don't need that huge foot rest. One person can just use the existing bagwell to rest their feet.

I call it a "jump" seat. Just "jump" on and hang on.
Here is where my need for grab handles arose. Nothing existed to grab on and hold onto. I proceeded to fabricate some nice handles.

After making the seat and rails fit the mount brackets, I used cardboard and cut out "L" shaped brackets (4) for my handle risers out of 3/16" plate steel.

I drilled the appropriate holes to mount the "L" brackets to seat rails. I cut 2 pieces of 5/8" x 5" tubing for the actual handles. Found me some nice grips. Placed them over the tubing and mounted them between 2 of the "L" brackets.....one on each end of the seat.

Cool, but how many beers does it take to get an up-grade to first-class?
