My custom seat covers
I finally had enough of the typical Buff colored seats on my CC Precedent so I tried my hand at making my own 2 tone seat covers. I wanted something different than a straight stripe so I went with a shape instead.

Re: My custom seat covers
Thank you! I am thinking about making these to sell but I need to get my hands on some seats of different models to make patterns.

Re: My custom seat covers
I learned to sew about a year and a half ago when i decided to reupholster my boat after getting a quote for $4k. I just bought a machine and am doing custom boat covers and some upholstery work.
I have over 20 years of experience as a metal model maker / tool maker so the patterning part comes easy. |

Re: My custom seat covers
Nice job. Looks real good. I wonder if piping would be useful on golf cart seats or would it just trap dirt.
How long did they take to make? |

Re: My custom seat covers
Dirt is exactly the reason that I don't like to use piping.
It took me about a day but i spent the time to make good patterns so i can reproduce them if i decide to sell them. |
