hydrographics
Anyone ever tried hydrographics? I bought some new wheels and tires and thought I would try this on the wheels. Probably the hardest thing to start with being that the wheels are 5/2 offset (very deep dish). They turned out pretty decent. Can't wait to get more film and dip other cart stuff.

Re: hydrographics
Where did you get it and how do you do it yourself? Looks good! I did look up instructions and it looks pretty easy.... How durable is it?

Re: hydrographics
Jim, you're right I did the cup holders first. They suggest practicing on smaller stuff before diving into it. I bought the kit off of E-Bay. I used the white base coat that came with the kit. I think the cup holders look more like snow camo, so for the wheels I used tan rustoleum. I like the tan much better. Once I get more film I'm going to re-dip the cup holders and a few other things on the cart. It is pretty simple to do although my offset wheels where tough. I re-dipped them a couple of times trying to get the centers to come out better. Overall I'm happy with the way they came out. Durability? We will just have to wait and see. I did clear coat with a flat matte finish. I think they will be way more durable than regular spray paint. Like anything... practice makes perfect!

Re: hydrographics
Looks really nice, pretty soon the cart will be invisible! You have camo everything.

Re: hydrographics
sho305, That's the goal...Camo everything. I bought the cart with the body already dipped. First time I took it out hunting I was walking back to my cart and it still really stuck out like a sore thumb. Now I think it will blend in. The 48v is way better for being quiet while hunting and no smell from the exhaust helps alot I still need to reduce all the squeeks and rattles! It sure is a lot of fun getting your cart just the way you want it
