Default Cart in a truck bed

Hi all, I have a cart im building and was wondering if anyone hauls their cart in the truck bed. We camp and would like to take our cart next time. I have a 03 tundra 4*4. I have ramps to load in my truck bed, just wondering about weight + towing my camper. 03 tundra payload is 1995 lbs, towing is 7200 lbs. My cart weighs 1005 lbs and camper is 5000 lbs. My question, is my truck capable of hauling the cart and camper together. We travel around 300 mile max each way.

Usually some weight in the truck helps it tow better, long as it does not sway/lean/top heavy or overload it. Bare carts are around 600lb not much weight for a truck a cart will fit in. I hauled mine before and didn't even notice, but I was using a 3/4 ton diesel.

When I take my cart with me to the threshers reunion each year i put it in the 8 foot bed of my 66 f100 and then hook the home built camper up and away I go. The truck having some weight in the back actually makes the towing seem easier,But in my case with 4 wheel drum brakes on the truck and a mildly modified 300 I6 engine,I can outrun my brakes if I aint careful.
