Default G1 rear seat

Here is one of my customers carts, it's a 1981 Yamaha g1 gas. He asked for a rear seat to fit his G1 but was told they do not make one for that model. Then he asked me to get him any seat and he will make it fit, and get him a canopy and he will make it fit. So, what he used was a rear seat for a 2001 Ezgo txt and a canopy from a Yamaha. He fabricated and attached brackets for the rear seat foot rest, to the hinges that make the rear body to flip up and fabricated brackets for a windshield from a club car ds, its unbelievable how all looks and works.

My garage is 8 ft high and the way it is set up, remove 2 bolts and it folds down. I just rebuilt engine in it. The height when it is all set up is regular height, has to be seen in person to appreciate his work. I will have to make and post video as soon as the snow goes. Stay tuned.

I will post a full line of pictures, I have cart in my garage just waiting for a few parts to arrive. It's February here in Newfoundland, Canada and not warm enough to go cruising around in a G1. Pics as soon as possible.

Here is a few pictures of the rear seat installation on a G1. It all starts from it being bolted to the hinge for the rear body that flips up. The foot rest is mounted to rear bumper, the rest is all put together in one peice that swings with the rear body. The windshield brackets are fabricated from leftover bars from other rear seats. Hope this helps anyone interested in putting one on there G1.
The parts are:
Yamaha canopy newer style
EZGO txt rear seat
Windshield club car I believe
