Default Budget Stereo System

Well... Since I never could find any speaker mounts that didn't also have a place for a head unit, I went a different route. All we do is listen to music off our phones so all I wanted was an aux input and a couple speakers, no need for the head unit at all. And, I didn't need anything fancy. So, here's the end result. Two 6.5" speakers, an aux input on the dash and volume control on the dash. I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds and for a $75 total investment.. I'm really happy with it!

Do you have a link to that input setup? Are you driving the speakers with an amp?

If there is an easy way to get an inverter on a GC.... check this out
I've got one driving my two outdoor speakers on my rear deck. Bluetooth, aux, and USB in. kinda awesome folks.

actually, I think you can power it via USB if you dont use the bluetooth. put it on a switched 12v usb and you'd be golden.

It's an all in one amp/receiver.

You could actually get out for even cheaper if you buy the kit that comes with their speakers. I just chose to use some nicer Kenwoods.
