Unhappy Dashboard

I installed some time ago a back mirror with a Android screen on it (GPS, etc...) to program a basic dash (Speed, Odometer, consumption, etc...). Originally, it was on my phone but... sometimes I was not starting it! Yeah, I have time to lose... *smile

Based on an Arduino Nano, I was planning to connect to this mirror and send other information such as rpm, voltage, engine temperature (with a non contact infrared module), external temperature, speed (wheel), light/headlight/left & right turn signals, etc...

Even if I am still waiting for little electronic stuff I cannot cannot find locally, I discovered on my first tests that if this \@Łą mirror has Bluetooth, it is only for audio... no network services

...So I went Wifi and all is ok! Can't wait to receive my stuff to finally package in a waterproof box *smile

On these pictures, several lights are on:

- Petrol, calculated from consumption and distance vs filling tank
- Headlights and lights
- Right turning light
- Over-heating (can be switch off by pressing on it but will switch back on if needed)
- Over-voltage (can be switch off by pressing on it but will switch back on if needed)

There is also another one when maintenance is to be done (between right turn and over-heating, opposite of light).

Pressing once on the rpm changes the left screen (external temperature) to indicate the actual rpm with numbers, a second press indicates the maximum rpm. Same when pressing on temperature, voltage or speed. A press on the time switch to date, etc... Pressing the time of 3 beeps on MPH or KMH changes the units, same on trip resets the trip.

Pressing on menu goes to refuelings, expenses and maintenance as well as vehicles and general settings.

Funny...
