Foam Thickness
so im going to make a new seat for the 94, since it never came with one.. i was wondering how thick on average is the foam??? i was gonna prolly just go with 4 inches, but still curious what it came with??

I've made a couple and replaced the foam in a few. I use 6" because it gives a nice tight or firm feel under the cover and keeps wrinkles out. Make sure to overlap the wood by @1/2" to knock the sharp edge off.

I did make one with a 3 and wished I had gone for 4 inch except for the price!

we have this place thats close to the house called foam factory.. and by their website, a 4 inch thick 48" by 24" peice of foam thats perfect for seats would be about 38 bucks..

You got that right on the cost scotty! One thing to think about is a used couch or chairs. A $10.00 or even a throw away old couch will give you plenty of nice thick foam. |

well since they are free (and i already checked there atleast 3 free couches that are not that far from me) pick em up use just the coushins and throw the rest in a dumpster.. or even better the ones they claim are at the curb, just dirve by and grab just the coushins and leave..lol hey its at the curb its fair game..
