Default Miller 140 Welder

I haven't done much with this yet but enough to say, this is a great little
machine. Perfect for the garage and campground. Thanks for your advice
roady!! Very happy with it.

Is $500 a good price for one that's NIB?

Glad I could help. Did the voltage adjustment make sense once you looked at them?

As long as it new and you want a 110 unit yes.....if you want to weld anything thicker than say 3/16 I myself would save my money and get a 220 volt mchine. Newguy wanted to be able to use his at the lake and "most" lake places around here don't have 220 so a 110 is perfect.

Yep, the voltage adjustment on this machine has much more control. Also the
wire feeder looks way better. Quality product.

$500 is a GOOD price for NIB.

hi guys,
good lookin welders. as a welder in a fab shop and an owner of a lincoln 110 welder, i thought i would stop ans sayif you dont already know...dont try to use a regular extention cord to reach your work, get a peice of house wiring and put male and female ends on it .use that for extention as the regular on wont carry enuff juice and you will find yourself calling your new welder all kinds of names...thought i would just try and help out.

What Mike says is true! I had told newguy the exact same thing in a pm. I have the same one newguy has and have had those extension cord problems. I think its ok to use an extesion cord if you "have to" for small tack welds on sheetmetal but anything else you need a big fat cord. The shorter the better.

Good info guys. After talking with roady, I tried an air conditioner extension
cord I had laying around. Big wires, worked great!!
