Removeable Rear Flip Seat
Does anyone sell a quick disconnect rear seat, or has anyone came up with an ingenious idea to quick disconnect. I want to build a cart that has a back seat to take to skeet shooting events and looks normal at the golf course.
Thanks in Advance. |

Re: Removeable Rear Flip Seat
When I built the flip seat for my cart I didn't care about carrying clubs but my son and grandsons kept on me about the obvious defect.
Ended up mounting the strap yoke to a cross bar that bolts to the armrests with 2 thumb nuts. Easy on, easy off trifecta. PS- I stole the idea from Madjax. . Last edited by tag50; 09-22-2017 at 10:21 PM.. Reason: PS |

Re: Removeable Rear Flip Seat
This is a cart with a factory back seat. When flipped back it is only connected to the cart with 2 quick release pins.
EZGO sells this as a kit on shopezgo.com item no. 74150G01 . It is very pricey and includes everything including heavy duty springs. Most of this stuff you wouldn't want probably. They also this: https://shop.ezgo.com/products/Rear-...roduct_id=3498 which appears to be just the seat and frame work for a much more reasonable price and might work for you. Here is a link to the instructions (for the complete kit) so you can get a feel for the parts and assembly. https://ezgo.ebizcdn.com/fb508ef074e...8c68be06d8a2eb On my cart if you disregard the rear foot rest and seat you can possibly imagine the look of the cart with the seat removed. There is permanent frame work on both sides of the bagwell. My eyeball guesses 3-4" of intrusion on each side of the bagwell. I could measure it if you want. I'm thinking 2 golf bags might be a problem. Also this doesn't address the assembly to secure the tops of the bags which are present on a standard cart. |
