Default Tow tractor from yamaha g2?

Hey guys new to the forum but not new to small engines and golf carts.

Ive got an old lifted yamaha g2, dont really need the cart anymore for a cruising /camping rig. It was given to me free. But i have a very hilly farm and id like to turn it into a mini tow tractor for limbs and pulling a cart with firewood and animal feed, rocks up hills ect. Its only 8.5 hp.

Id simply like to mod the rear end with pickup truck sized mud tires and gear it so that it runs about 2 miles per hr but will climb steep hills pulling a cart. Esentially a really tiny pull tractor. Ive already got all of the torque i can from the stock secondary drive pulley and have no spring so the pulley wont even open out of its gear ratio. Has anyone here attempted anything like this before? The body has long been shot, so im open to cutting and modding anything no matter how ugly. I was thinking way oversized pulley on the rear input shaft, tuning the carb, and some governer adjustment.

Am i on the right track? Any other constructive input from you guys is appreciated, before i start digging into it and doing a lot of unecissary fab work, id like to see if anyone else has had sucess from similar projects.
