Default Bluetooth Speaker Mounting

Just wanted to share my simple portable Bluetooth speaker mounting on my Yamaha. Cost me $3.00 at the hardware store. The speakers are UE Megaboom’s and what I like about them is they can be paired in stereo. This way you can unscrew them from the mount and use them off the cart as well.

Quite clever. i like it. How did you mount the nut(s) to the speaker?

Just double nutted the 2” stainless 1/4-20 bolt and put heat shrink on the nuts to better hide them. Needed the extra nut for a spacer as well. The speakers have a threaded insert on the bottom of them.

Hey, just ran across this. Nice job, they look great mounted like that. I was looking for a way to mount my Tribit X Boom speaker. I ended up finding a cool looking water bottle holder for a bicycle and mounted it to the back of the roof. The speaker fit into it perfectly. I love seeing cool custom little projects like this. Once again, great job and thanx for sharing!
