XT Inovations rear seat
Is this rear seat from XT Innovations actually available for sale/use or is it just a prototype? It's very unique, though I'm not sure how it would support much weight.

Re: XT Inovations rear seat
We actually have allot of irons in the fire, with new ideas for golf carts.
The photo on the website is the first prototype we made for a TXT. It did survive much testing last summer, and would support two large adults while only one adult was driving the cart. However the first prototype was a completely welded framework that would have been very hard to ship to customers according to our distributor. We do have a newer version of this same seat that can be easily shipped, and is now in the testing phase. You can never be too safe when it comes to new design ideas. We hope to offer this product very soon. XT |

Re: XT Inovations rear seat
Nice design. I like the front facing of the seats. I tend to have to agree with bhfear on the wheelie. Seems like it would really put a lot of weight distribution toward the back. Maybe design a push bar with a weight carrier on the front like my tractor.

Re: XT Inovations rear seat
I had thought about doing this in the receiver, but was concerned about making the overall length too much by the time you create some foot room.

Re: XT Inovations rear seat
Here are some more spy shots at the new version of this seat design. I guess I need to post a U-Tube video of this seat in action with some real weight on it?
Yes, it is easily removable with just two pull-pins. XT |
