Default Receiver hitch for '03 CC DS gas

EDIT: my CC has a 6" All Sports lift kit. It may matter for hitch fitment??
.
Built a receiver hitch that's bolted to frame forward of rear spring hangers.
Remove plastic inside fender wells (2 bolts per side). There are 2 slotted holes already in frame, slightly offset. (see blue arrows). There are 2 welds to grind slightly grind for flatter fit of handmade bracket (blue arrows also).
.
All metal is 1/8" thick. The frame brackets are 3" wide by 10" long flat bar.
The cross bars from left to right frame bracket are 1/8 x 1" square tubing.
The receiver is 1/8" angle welded together around hitch (leave some slack) and drill hitch pin hole. (lighter than a bought receiver). The length will be from rear of slot to about mid of frame brackets. Clamp the hitch receiver to aluminum slot hitch on rear of cart, center it and level it.

.
Hold the flat bar against frame, plumb then mark holes. Once drilled, bolt on to check fitment. (bolts are 3/8" by 1 1/2" long). Don't pinch light wires. If fit is good, drill other bracket using first as a guide. Bolt both to frame rails.
.
Measure between frame brackets, cut 2 square tubing to length, fit between brackets and where reciever is against them, tack weld between the brackets and to each other (one on top of the other) and to receiver.
.
Unbolt, pull off (I had to drop left rear shock to remove)
weld out, add gussets, cut off excess length of frame brackets (aprox 1/2".)
Paint, reinstall receiver and shock, fender liners.
Note: the fender liners fit perfect to the new bolt heads...must be made for bolts there?
.
I can stand on hitch and bounce w/o any flexing.
