Default DIY Glove box cover

i have a Yamaha Drive with a voltage reducer mounted inside the drivers side glovebox.... Outside I have a jerry rigged piece of plexiglass that my 4 gang rocker switch attaches to.

Im trying to figure out a way to make a glove box cover that fits streamline and covers whole glovebox so i can make the area cleaner. I will cut out hole large enough to fit my switch panel on and also will help keep reducer from getting wet.

I know they make those $150 dash cover kits but those look sooooo cheesy to me... Anyone ever fabbed up glovebox cover before?

I've considered doing something similar. If you end up fabricating something share pics!

Start with cardboard to make a template to your liking, pick your material and go for it.

Never owned one till this summer, what enjoyment!
Bought some LEDs to put discrete back up lights next 4"L x 1/4" high to attach to the bottom of rear seat, never know they're there, i have one of the type lighting up my Bagwell "Yamaha" .. can't see it either just the glow.
