Stretch question
Hi all I see a few folks are stretching their carts to make like a limo or just a bit to make them longer. When someone does that what do you do about your gas and brake cables? Do you have to know someone that can make the cables up for you to match the stretch, or what?

Re: Stretch question
Just a guess but you could probably purchase the factory cables for a longer cart.

Re: Stretch question
On Yami's...you use the stock cables....you just get the longer rod from the equilizer or make your own.

Re: Stretch question
Thanks everyone for our answers, SuperBee Im not stretching anything I was just wondering that when those that do stretch what did they do for longer cables. Wouldn't mind stretching one of my G1's about 6 inches but that would be about all.

Re: Stretch question
Calvin,
We welded rod in to extend the brake, and put a rod from the gas to a home made linkage to the OE cable. Brake Gas |

Re: Stretch question
essness and ScottyB thanks a lot I really appreciate the pics and info. I would love to stretch my 82 G1 about a foot. Im a big guy and the seating on these G1's isn't the best. I have even thought about cutting the steering column and shortening it but this is the way to go, better seating and better handling. I like this a lot, did you make your cuts in the frame around the same area?
