Dump bed idea
I'd like to put a bed on one of my carts so I can take it hunting but don't really want to spend the money for a new one right now. I was thinking about doing the following:
1. Find a used lawn trailer at a yard sale 2. Remove the axle part 3. Cut the box to the length that fits my cart 4. Weld the front back on 5. Paint it up 6. Mount it to the cart What do you guys think? Are there any other inexpensive ideas for making a bed? |

Re: Dump bed idea
That would work out great if you can build a frame to mount it.

I believe they mount near the bumper mounts and to rear of the seat back supports. The E-Z-GO seat back may need some modification to leave enough room for the box.

Re: Dump bed idea
Depends what cart you're putting it on. My Yamaha G2 had two pieces of 3/16" flat steel that bolted to the bumper and bottom of the bed.
Here is a pic of my old limo cart. The factory bed is off so its easy to see the supports. All really you need to do is build a nice sturdy base for the cargo box to lay flat on, rivet the box to the tubing and you should be ready to haul @ss...literally! |

What ever happened to that limo, Xtreme? I don't remember you completing it.
