My Ragin Cajun cart build
I am starting with an 08 lifted Star Cart that was left next to a barn for the last 8 months out in the sun. The controller was burnt and was in need of alot of work. I first stripped it down to the frame and washed, sanded, then painted the undercarraige and braces. This cart was set up for skeet shoots and the first things to go was the gun scabbords. The seats were rotton, paint faded, and wheels were tornished bad. I have alot of plans for this cart including: Mounting 17" wheels and tires, Full audio and video system mounted in the diamond plate box, The theme of the cart will be the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, New white and red seats, and a few more custom parts.
Im in the process of changing the wheels to these 17" wheels. |

Re: My Ragin Cajun cart build
I just got my new red and white seat covers and wheel adapters in. Now I can mount the wheels. I will be posting pics soon. I also ordered some wake board speakers for the roof bars. I also got a sheet of diamond plate aluminum from tractor supply and will be covering the bottom of the front seat.

I have the center insert for the wheels to cover the lug holes. They will be painted red soon. I did not have my adapters in the pics to space out the wheels. The center hub was sticking through the center of the wheel. The adapters will space it out and correct this problem. I will post new pics later this week. |

Very cool. That will totally change the whole look of that cart. How do you like the Star carts? I have never really seen one up close.

Re: My Ragin Cajun cart build
Super, what bolt pattern are the wheels? 4/100? What size spacers are you using?
I love those wheels, they make such a difference on the cart. Keep posting pictures as you build. |
