Opera Seat
Has anyone ever done an "opera seat" on the rear using the bag well as a place for your feet? I can get three on the rear seat ok but if I make a horseshoe shaped seat around the rear, I can get five back there. And besides, I think it would look COOL!! What are your thoughts?

Re: Opera Seat
5 people on the back would be alot of weight. Easy wheelies though.

Re: Opera Seat
I think it would look something like you would use to smuggle illegals out of Mexico. Sometime, too much it just... well.... just a little too much.
But, if you do it and post pics, I will look at it and try not to laugh out loud. This is a golf cart, not a school bus or in this case, an opera house. It does sound creative though. |

Re: Opera Seat
That's what I'm after here. I will never ride 5 people in the rear but it would be different looking, kind'a thinking outside the box.
My wife says I have way to much time on my hands and that it tends to get me in over my head. She might be right!! LOL |

Re: Opera Seat
i had 6 people on my lifted kart. 3 in the front bench, 3 kinda hanging on for life on the back with no seat..
thinkin about making a bench seat though now:) the big problem is the weight distribution. does wheelies and wont steer. you could move the stock bench seat forward and the backrest frame forward and gain better weight distribution with rear seats to even out the weight |

Re: Opera Seat
Since I'm only 5'3" I think I could move the front seat forward a lot then move the back seat forward to help with the weight problem. It would require brkt.s under the frt. seat and supports under the rear but it would be different. I might have to remove the top and make a roadster out of it!
