Re: JR Dragster Help
Is it a toe issue? Not much meat on those things to start with - I'd bet if the alignment is perfect, they'll burn that rubber right off???

Re: JR Dragster Help
Garage - does your cart "pull" any while going down the drag strip? Tire pressure? Can the wear be coming from compensating "pull" at the steering wheel? If those are JR dragster wheels, I'd bet that your drag cart is much heavier than the JR dragster...

Re: JR Dragster Help
When you say you modified it, what did you modify? Since there is no camber adjustment, it has to be right on. It could be either a toe problem, or if its not mounted exactly square, it will eat tires.

Re: JR Dragster Help
they way it looks in the pic with the wheels turned your caster is off
on a jr the tires also lean when they turn just like the full dragsters |

We have been ajusting on the 4 link. Just about there. But yes the cart will leave the line stright. The carts weight is 500 lbs with driver. We have to run 65 lbs tire pressure to keep the tire from rolling off the rim. |
