Re: up date on my project
I've done this with a G9 and Suzuki 4X4 but it's really hard to offer suggestions if we can't see pics of what you're working with.
Any chance you could borrow a camera for a minute? |

Re: up date on my project
i have it mounted in and i figured out what to do with the throttle it is working ok but the shifter is messing up that 4 wheeler if you kill it in any gear its hard to put in nuatral so some how i killed it in gear and my shifting rod i put on it is a little wimpy so i and going to put a stronger rod on it and see what happens then
as far as a picture goes i dont know of anybody that will let me use their cam but when i get it finished i will find a way of putting some up but let me say this it will not look in anyway like a bunch of you other guys has done all of yall are pros and i am very impressed at the work yall have done i can only dream of a cart like you guys have but for what i am going to do with mine no off road playing just hauling thing around the farm mine will work fine till i can buy one of those really pretty one from one of the pros here |

Re: up date on my project
I thought the same thing about the looks of my cart when I was building it and was promptly told that you don't have to have deep pockets to build and enjoy (or use for work) a cart to be proud of. Not all will look the same or cost the same, doesn't matter!! Build what you want or need, we just like to see them.
I assume like mine you have to put it in neutral to restart it. I thought the same thing when I was building mine so I have a push button wired across the neutral safety switch. It still works like it should but I can push it and bypass to start in gear. I have never actually used it but I did test it when I put it in. |

Re: up date on my project
Hope this might help. It is the build of my cart.
I ran one of the brake cables back to a mastercylinder under the seat. You will need to get a 5/8 or 3/4 bore M/C. Anything bigger and you will have to stand on the pedal to get it to stop. http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p...0Cart%20Build/ Here is one of the M/C and cable |
