Dash Opinions
BGW Team,
Some of you have seen my cart as I've been going thru the process to "make it my own." I'm to a point where I would like your opinion... The changes to the cart so far have been great, but I'm at the point where I'm getting some flack from my brother and beer drinking buds that my dash is out of place now. Mind you it had the current wood grain dash on it when I purchased it. With that said, if it were yours, where would you go? Leave it wood grain? Swap it out? Titanium? Carbon fiber? Leather? There are some other choices out there, combination of finish/leather, but these are a starting point for me to think about... Give me your opinion with a vote... let's see where this ends up. I highly value my BGW experts opinion!!! |

Re: Dash Opinions
Wood grain is very nice but it does not work with your sweet cart. Titanium I believe would look the best. That is my expert opinion.

Re: Dash Opinions
I agree with Aces the woodgrain looks out of place, however if it were mine I would go with the carbon fiber, in my opinion that would blend more with the color scheme.

Re: Dash Opinions
So far concensus says get rid of the wood grain.
If this pattern holds true and then I bow down to suggestions and/or peer pressure, however one feels to look at it, would anyone have a spare room for a day or two???? Till the girlfriend lets me back in the house when she see's me tearing stuff apart again!!!!! |

HD, just get her a gift certificate for a full day facial and treatment at the local spa, do it while she is there and she won't even notice the new dash for a week lol. Remember it is always easier to ask for forgiveness then it is to ask for permission.

Re: Dash Opinions
I voted for the titanium to match some of the other trim.

Re: Dash Opinions
You could always get the wood painted to match the rest.

Re: Dash Opinions
I am weird as you all know. If you have some fiberglass skills mold a whole new dash shape with spaces for radio, switches, gauges, and such. Make a solid mold and you may be able to sell a few.

Re: Dash Opinions
I think the carbon fiber dash would go well with the black on your cart (nice looking btw!)
