What is that stuff called and where can I get it?
Please help,
I have a 96 CC and there use to be a clear plastic film where the seat use to rest. Ultimately, I want to protect the paint surface from getting scuffed off from the seat resting on it. Does anyone know what the tape like plastic film is called? Please help. I just got my painted body back from the shop.. Here is a peak of the project before and after. I am not 100% done yet but the best part is out of the way.  Chris |

It's made by 3M called Paint Protection Film or Clear Bra.

I called the local Auto parts and he referred me to my local collision center. Rolls of that stuff is not cheap!
The collision center is going to hook me up! He buys it in rolls 3" wide which is perfect for my needs. Picking it up monday. |

It sure is. As you can see, I do not chime in too often but I have been lurking. I have learned so much in relatively little time. I just hope my cart compares to some of the bad@$$ machines I see on this site.
