Re: Ipod amp and speakers only?
I opted to go with a regular car radio and speakers, mounted in a one piece cabinet. At least, I got as far as planning. Have the console, just haven't gotten around to doing anything with it. I couldn't find a good enough Ipod amp that I trusted to actually work. Mine is silver/black/graphite not woodgrain. I still don't know if I want to mount on the roof or the seat body.

Re: Ipod amp and speakers only?
Well, this Ipod amp, I guess it needs just 12v for power? If this is the case, do you have a voltage reducer or just your batteries?

Re: Ipod amp and speakers only?
I did the Ipod amp and double speakers in mine. It works well. I went with the cheapo model for testing purposes. I would like to upgrade mine if it ever goes out, but it's playing really good for now. Mine was $15.00 on ebay. I added two Sony 6.5" speakers and now, I can rock and roll. It's even a little decorative since the LED around the volume knob lights up in different colors while it's playing.

Re: Ipod amp and speakers only?
Lookup "mp3 amp" on Ebay & you will find dozens of them. The ones a few of us bought in the thread I posted up above are similar to this one.
