Turned out great!! Love how the tire is basically on the ground when dismounting!

Keep up the good work.

I like it, built something similar for a suburban a few years back.

I had a spare on one side and fuel/tools on the other. Spare was on the outside. I made a holder/mount with 6 lugs and a piece of plate so the lug nuts were on the back against the truck to keep the thieves away. Then I always had spare lugs with me. (broke quite a few in that wagon)

I put a receiver tube on mine so I could attach a vise at normal working level, it also made a nice foot to keep tools and what not out of the mud.

You may want to swap the upper bolts for trailer hitch pins to allow for quick disconnect and theft prevention.

You can buy them in matched pairs.

I really like the captured spare idea you may be able to put a gas can / tool rack on each side.

If you buy metal cans you can cut one open on the side and make a tool box out of it and no one's the wiser.

Looks awesome as is though!
