Double Lift?
Is it possible to take a Lift, such as the Jakes six inch, and add a spindle lift on top of that, such as jakes 3 inch spindle lift? That way I could run much bigger tires, and look cool with a big lift. I know the rear would also need some lift but longer coil overs could do the trick. What do you guys think can I do this??

Re: Double Lift?
I'm not sure how strong that would be.

Re: Double Lift?
I thought about that but then i thought that the after market A-arms must be stronger then the stockers. . .But not entirely sure thats what i wanted to know from you guys, you guys are usually a wealth of knowledge, thnx for all help in the past and future (I know i will be needing some). but i know someone should know something about this. I think I heard of someong doing this on a CC on a different forum.
Thnx, Mike |

Re: Double Lift?
i think the universal thought on this was it not being a good idea. too easy to bend stuff with all that leverage of the spindle lift acting on the suspension

Re: Double Lift?
I think a drop axle and some blocks would be better. Biggest problem then is axle roll.
Oops...I have EZGO in my head. I think you meant club car. You could still do a Z lift. |

Re: Double Lift?
You can get up to 10" of lift from a jakes. Why the need to go bigger?
