Your cart is electric so the rear end in there now does not have reverse, so you need to find a rear end out of a cart that has a gas 4 stroke motor in it and the rear end will have F and R, I think the 4 stroke motor started in 94 don't remember, some one will know for sure, The rear end should bolt in the same, now for how your are going to drive it from the motor to the rear end is a different story

You might be able to find a rear end in the parts section some one has one not sure what they are going to want for it $$

OK, some facts:

1. All electric carts achieve reverse by reversing polarity to the motor causing it to spin in the opposite direction. The differential is simple.

2. All 4-cycle engines turn in one direction only and reverse is achieved by mechanicly changing a gear in the differential via a lever or cable. The differential is more complicated.

Ok lets clear something up,

The 550cc motor that you are putting in this cart, does the motor have reverse in the motor or does it just have 5 or 6 forward gears??? if the motor does not have reverse in it, the cart will not have reverse with the electric motor rear end in it

Is your motor a 4-stroke or 2-stroke?
