Default Newbie wtb painter

I will search the forums, I promise. One crucial or dumb question: is there a big difference between gravity feeds or siphon feeds on paint sprayers. I plan on being a totally amatuer painter, so I invested in a "Huskey" stainless, siphon sprayer...supossedly an all around gun? I don't know just point me in the right direction for the gun and I'll read the forums for the wrest. Thanks in advance. BTW, I'll be running of a of a 120 pound compressor...reduced of course, but I do want a decent mid range paint gun. Any input very apprciated.

I like the HVLP gravity sprayers. Never had much luck with the siphons...always seems to make a bigger mess and leak paint. I got a cheapo "Vapor" brand gun from Northern Tool.

I have always done my garage projects with a combo of the two, primer and sealer I spray out of a siphon feed, and spray my base and clear coats from my HVLP. I'd get both.

I know several painters who do the same. I think they use the siphons because they can get em cheap and they are fine for primer.
