Re: Bazooka Speakers
i worked for a bazooka dealer 10 or so years ago. IIRC the car audio stuff was so-so when compared to other stuff we carried but the marine line was top notch. a lot can happen in 10 years though...
the JL Audio 7" marine coaxials look very nice but are twice the price. link they go down to 45 Hz where the bazooka 6.5" only play down 85 Hz. are you using a amp? -sj |

Re: Bazooka Speakers
if you aren't planning on adding a amp, look at the efficiency numbers when comparing speakers. the higher the better for the most part. the 93dB on the bazooka is very good.
almost any 6" is going to have quite a bit more bass than a 4". -sj |

Re: Bazooka Speakers
FYI- got my new Bazooka speakers installed today and they really sound good alot of bass which what I wanted, the size of the magnets puts them right on my batterys so I got to get a spacer to bring them off the surface some to get it " alittle" room its to close to leave that way long term. The bass was making the hood rattle but I found the rattle which was a cross bar in the hood frame and the fiberglass but I cured that with a small piece of card board shoved between it.
