Big bad roll cages
HERE WE GO EVERYBODY. CHEVY AND I DECIDED TO BUILD OUR OWN ROLL CAGES. NEITHER ONE OF US HAVE EVER DONE THIS BEFORE, BUT IM NO STRANGER TO BUILDING STUFF. I ORDERED A TUBING BENDER, TUBING NOTCHER, BEND-TECH SOFT WARE, AND A ANGLE GAUGE. I HAVE A SMALL BACK GROUND IN CAD SO, DESIGNING A ROLL CAGE IS GOING TO BE NO BIG DEAL.
NOW I KNOW THERE ARE PLENTY OF COMPANIES OUT THERE BUILDING THEM. BUT, I CAN NOT FIND ANYONE THAT WILL CUSTOM BUILD WHAT I WANT. SO, WE ARE GOING TO TACKLE IT. NOT SURE HOW LONG ITS GOING TO TAKE US TO BUILD THEM, BUT HERE WE GO |

Re: Big bad roll cages
What are your roof plans? Has anybody ever tried making a roll cage that would take a stock roof? What about Chevy's 5 point harness connections? Sounds like fun ~ I sure wish I was closer... I have a workhorse that needs a custom build.
