06 pds
this is the start of my project. it is an 06 ezgo pds. i have added a chip. a jakes lift. new tires and wheels. and then i decided i would tear it all down and paint it all. i have added 6 new batteries while i was at it. the pics are of the cart torn down after the lift and ready for frame to be painted. then i have my redneck paint shop of the body being painted. tied all the body up with a wire that was running from my barn to the tractor. i have ordered and now just waiting for some powdercoated diamond plate accessories to arrive. i have several more pieces to paint up then i will start putting it all back together. ready for it to be running again.

Re: 06 pds
finally after almost 1 year of saving for new batteries and other goods and having some free time got the cart back together today. very happy with the results. still would like to do a couple more things. such as a rear seat and new seat skins. and also a light kit. but at least it is running again. the best part of the whole project is how well the plastics all cleaned up with krylon fusion. that stuff works great hope it holds up.

Re: 06 pds
What size lift and what size wheel did you use. Looks like spacers on the front?

Looks good, what did you do to prep/paint your roof? I'm thinking about doing mine, or buying a camo one when I get a camo seat.

Re: 06 pds
I hate to bug you on that lift but I am looking at doing the Jakes spindle and everyone keeps saying you cant run the 8 inch rim. But you did. Does it rub and what size are your tires? I was gonna add spacers to the rear to bump them out and keep it even looking.

Re: 06 pds
Didn't have spacers and no they don't rub. They are 22 inch rims ordered as a package from bu. I am unsure if they are offset rims or not. It has been around a year and a half ago since purchase so kinda unsure of exact specs.

Re: 06 pds
The stock tires are 8.8 wide and I have 10 wide. stock size rim.
The ones I have are 20/10/8 tires. So if yours are the 22/11/8 I would think I would be fine. Thanks alot. |
