Default On Board Charger Receptacle

Working on the charge receptacle for my new on-board chargers .... I wanted a piece that was a direct replacement for Ezgo Txt and would work to replace the charger receptacle on CC & other makes too. This houses the plug for the household (110v or 220v AC) extension cord connection for a completely enclosed on-board charger.... This is the proto-type.

Schweet!

I've already been thinking about what I'm going to do for mine. I'll need to get 2 of those 100v receptacles from you when I get the charger. I'll be fabbing a plate from diamond plate that will go where the stock charger port is in the body but I'll need it to have make to big enough to hold 2 - 110v receptacles. 1 for the 48v charger and 1 for the 12v charger for the accessories.

Hopefully I'll be in a position to order all the controller stuff and the charger by the end of the month!

I have simply mounted the Hubble type 110v receptacle in the plastic body in the past.
I'm sure whatever you make is going to look super.

I don't see a Hubble male plug that has a cover. I really like the look of those that you are using. Much cleaner that what I am seeing.

David can't wait to see what NASA, I mean, you , have made
I'm sure we will all be impressed

Terry the Hubble receptacles do not have covers until you get into the high end. Mostly RV stuff. They are nice male receptacles whereas these are simply male cord end holders. I do like the black plastic cover here though....

Terry I have put in quite a few Hubble receptacles without the cover and not any trouble with them....Hmmm ... you got me wondering if my cover would fit the Hubble? I notice they take the same size hole but I don't have any in stock to try?

It's going to be really hard for me to install a photo on my cart.

I'm sure whatever you are having done will be top shelf CR. Looking forward to seeing it.

I searched for rv receptacles, weatherproof recepatacles etc... Really didn't see anything that I'd use. I'd like to have something like the Hubbell that you used but I couldn't imagine not having covers on the receptacles. I'll run by one of my buddy's rv shops tomorrow and pick his brain.

Let me know if you do come up with another idea.

I think your RV buddy will know of something ~ I have found them but they were always too pricey for the most builds, keep us posted
