whats a good way to fill holes in the plastic body of my txt? i have some snap holes and want to get rid of my spike pads and bagwell guards for custom paint . i also have a 2"x2" hole not needed any more that needs filling. someone suggested bondo as its a plastic filler, but i was worried it would show thru with time like auto body does! any plastic epoxy's out there?? any help would be great!!!!

Or just look around for another body. Not sure where you are or how many cart shops but you may be able to find one lurking somewhere.

I used the plastic bumper filler epoxy. Autozone, Walmart, and others have it. About $6.

I just filled all of my snap holes this past week and used JB quick weld in them.... First I 45* beveled the holes inside and out just a tiny amount so it would have a little extra on both sides then I put some metal tape on the inside filled the holes from the out side and that took care of it..... Now the JB weld wont just fall out......

for small holes, I afree, JB weld cant be beat. for the bugger diameter holes, use fibreglass.

Skip,

for better results and less sanding, tape the front and fill from rear. I would use electrilal tape (JB Weld will not stick to it) then reinforce with regular tape. this way, when you remove the tape, the area is flat and less sancing is required.

I used some plastic bumper filler I got from an auto body supply store, worked great and is made for plastic so it's more flexible than auto body filler. This means it will be less likely to crack, and thermal expansion and contraction issues will me minimized as well.
