Default Replacing bench seats with boat seats (2001 EZ-Go)

Anyone have any pictures (up close) of using boat seats (or any other ideas) for a cart similar to mine? I'm looking for some pictures of what it would look like, and if it is as comfortable. I was going to re-cover mine with camo, but thought about making some sort of bucket seats and just replacing the whole thing.

I just want to get some ideas together and see what other people have done. I don't really want to put seats from an automobile in there, just some sort of boat seat that is camo.

You could look at the seats from one of the site sponsors, XT innovations, they have some great seats that could give you that custom seat feel, unless you already have the boat seats. I guess make a piece of plywood the same as your front seat now and then bolt the boat seats on. Just an idea.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. Cart is still on a "budget build". If I can't do it on the cheap, Ill just re-cover the factory one with camo. I was just wondering if anyone had any pictures of this set up of bucket seats on a cart like mine? Are they wide enough to fit all the way across, or is there room in the middle for maybe a console? Just looking at some idea's.

I noticed in your other thread you have a boat. Measure the width of those seat versus the width of the cart seat, that will give you a better idea if there is room for a center console.

Unfortunantly........sold the boat about 2 months ago to get a camper. I might stop by academy or something today and measure, then look at mine when I get home. I think it would look pretty cool with 2 bucket seats and some time of center console. That is why i'm trying to see if anyone else has don it.

How comfortable are those compared to the bench seat that come on ones like mine?
