CrAzY stuff you dream of,..
while cutting the grass,....
cruiseing around my 3 acre yard on my snapper. I know people are going green. Theirs electric cars, how about a golf cart with a electric mower deck? Anyone ever tried? Don't think it would be that hard a task. 72 volt,..36 for cart 36 for mower deck |

this thought has crossed my mind... iv'e been watching craig's list for a cheap finish mower. replace the ICE or pto with a spare golf cart motor, wire up some anderson connectors and run the deck off the traction pack.
also been thinking about picking up a small electric mower to tow behind my robot. or a reel mower. i could mow from inside where its nice & comfy.  -sj |

Old thread, I know, but I just saw it.
Google "gang reel mower" sometime. Would be ideal for towing with a cart, cooler at your side, shade over your head. And as green as you want to make it. |

Just a crazy idea i had,.....i'm a get out of that box type guy.
I was also thinking of retroing a electric motor to a pontoon boat with solar panels on the roof to put in our lake. just thinking,...... |
