Re: Polishing a club car frame
i was thinking about that last night while putting mine back together... its certainly doable. i would probably start with scouring pad on a grinder, then 400 grit with a random orbit detail/palm sander, 800 or so grit next, then work through the compounds with the grinder & buffs.

Re: Polishing a club car frame
It is definitely possible, but why would spend all that time on something no one would see? I was thinking about polishing out the rear pumkin on mine since my cart is lifted and you see it. It is alot of work and alot of work keeping it shine , but it looks amazing once done.

Re: Polishing a club car frame
Start by spraying it with "Toon Brite" used on Pontoon logs to clean them.
Should make the polishing easier. |

Re: Polishing a club car frame
Thanks for the tips guys. As far as why I am considering this. Let's say it will be tall enough to see details. I've seen guys use diamond plate floor pans and stuff to dress them up. Chrome is out of the question so what's a little elbow grease and have something a little different than normal
