Default cracked roof

Hello, the roof of my Yamaha drive ripped, i'm not quite sure how but i need to get it fixed quick, because the crack is causing rain water to stay in the roof. Any advice on how to repair this? Thanks Robert

I guess the rear of the roof has been pulled down on a couple of times,,,guess you could put some silicone in there and around the cracked area. That might work, but not sure. good luck

I thought it was the pulling down, but before we bought it the previous owner flipped it so it could have been that but the amount of force you have to use to push the roof into place is immense, I heard it can be welded though like how they weld car bumpers? I just don't know if there is anything strong enough except for a metal bar but then even the bolts could rip a hole.

Not sure about that one,,,guess you could always try to find a used one and replace it.

Option 1: Fill it with spray foam

Option 2: Get a used roof

Option 3: Glass over it and be done with it!

You can get a plastic welder, and weld it and it would be good as new.

I have some similar minor cracking on mine, I thought about fiberblass to repair then spraying with whole top with a truck bed liner spray. Any thoughts! I've seen where this bed liner material is very durable.

Bed liner is super ideal for carts as long as you PREP, PREP, PREP very well. No if you glass it good it will not crack. I can't really tell how big the gap is, but you are going to have to recreate the opening. Like you said it's hard to pull down. If you pull down and try to repair it, the tension will snap it instantly.

Get some of that foam called great stuff. Spray it in the hole and allow it to foam up out. Once it dries, you can take a razor blade, and carefully shave it down and shape the opening. Then glass over that. Just an idea. If you have questions feel free to shoot me a pm.
