1990 ezgo front nose cowel to paint
has anybody painted the front cowel of there cart , my main body is metal then you have the nose cowel that everyone leaves black it plastic . Im in the middle of rebuilding a cart and the next thing is paint.

Check out some of the roof painting threads. Most of that should apply directly to the nose piece.

Like this? I cleaned with lacquer thinner, scuffed with scotchbrite, sprayed with adhesion promoter then primer, paint and clear.

sweet thxs , alot of people told me that the smooth nose that paint wouldnt stick very well to it .. They said it would start to peal ? im going to use good paint from house of kolors its going to be a oreintal blue , getting rims and tires today and lift on fri ... :) thxs for the pic ney guy ... ill see if they have some adhesion promoter at that place ... If not can u tell me what you used please.

also did u also paint the black rubber that went around wheels or did you just leave it off ?

I painted this 4 years ago and it still looks good, no peeling. Yes, I left the rubber off, when for a cleaner look.

Nate just wanted to jump in NEWGUY is right on with his paint job. The promoter is used for a flex agent on auto bumpers and such and will hold up for years with paint applied and clear coat.As for the injector pump I would say 90% of us mix gas. It's not the damage that can be caused if the pump goes out and you WONT know until it's to late. Just my thoughts K
