Fender Skirts?

I need some advise.........

I've been working on a project Royal Ride. My half baked brain has decided that I want to make fender skirts for this project. I made a prototype and I think it has the look that I'm after. These are made of fiberglass, one layer so far. That's why you can see the tire behind it. I figured once I get the bugs worked out, I can add a layer or two of fiberglass.

Now the problem..........

What would be the best way to attach these??

I don't want to shoot holes through the body and bolt them on. I don't want to see the bolt heads. Also tire clearance is a little tight near the front of the skirt. Somewhat easy removal of the skirt so a tire could be changed would be nice. I may be asking to much.....But

So I figured with the creative people here at BGW, you guys could help me figure out what to do. I'm open to any suggestions you guys may have.

Any way you could use velcro to attach them? If there's a lip on the inside of the wheel well, put a lip on your flairs and put velco on them. Just a thought.

After looking again I seen the clothespins holding them on, so velcro might be a possibility?

I think Boke is onto something with velcro. You can get the industrial stuff at a hardware store for pretty cheap and it's really strong.

I did think about Velcro. Two things I'm worried about is the thickness of the Velcro and getting the body lines to line up and the glue to attach the Velcro. The self stick Velcro glue sucks. What's a good glue so I don't have to worry about stuff coming loose?

I would go with button head bolts, they would match the rivets on the rest of the cart.

Mmmm! My only issue with the plastic pins is then the heads can be seen and I'm not sure it will look right. But I do appreciate the thought. The color of the cart will be Burgundy.
