Question converting a 36 volt club cart to gas power

Hello people in the custom cart world
I just got a 36 volt club cart 1996 and I want to convert it to gas machine I know people have done it in the past. I am looking for some information you see when I am done this project the cart is not going to used for golf no more I have plan of putting a lift in it and quad tires and so on.

what I was wondering is what short of engine should I use 12hp or higher pls answer back I take what ever advise I can get thanks for looking

does anyone know what size the sprocket is on the rear diff of a 96 club car thanks

it doesent have a sprocket. the electric motor will have to be removed and a gas trans installed in its place. 97 newer the whole rear needs to be replaced but from what i have read 96 older you can just swap the motor for the trans then install a driven clutch.
