Battery suspension in oil
Has anyone considered putting their batteries in a leakproof enclosure, then submerging them in mineral oil to prevent corrosion? Just trying to think out of the box...

lead acid batteries need to vent excess hydrogen when they are charging I don't think putting them in a sealed container would work
