Re: Plasti Dip how good is it?
Don't do it! Plastidip sucks. I run custom golf carts of savannah in ga and I had a plastidip painter in town that wanted me to try it. Well the body moves too much during mounting and causes plastidip to bubble. Stick with regular paint

That is a lot of texture bud. You can get it smoother then that. Is it cold where you are? Are you starting with very light coats?

That's not texture, it's silver metalizer over the top! It's really smooth, it does look like that though I must admit.

Re: Plasti Dip how good is it?
Depending on the color of the cart and the color you want plasti dipped will determine the amount of paint. Mine is dark blue and I want to dip it Koi Orange. That being said, I'm having to paint it white ( 2 cans ) and then go with the orange ( 4 cans ). If I were to paint it without the white then the orange would be a different shade than I want.

Koi orange is full spectrum I believe. Meaning you dont need a base coat. Ill check for ya real quick.
